Placement Information

To access the placement assessment centers, please read the following instructions carefully.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All online placement tests must be completed before you arrive for early registration. Students who do not complete their required placement tests before they meet with their academic advisors will not be able to register for any of the classes that require placement information (i.e., math, foreign language, and English). Questions about the placement test process may be directed to Ms. Jill Pettit, Coordinator of Institutional Assessment, at jpettit@highpoint.edu.

You will need your High Point University username and password to access the online Assessment center for Italian placement. Your username has been provided to you and will be the same for all electronic resources on campus.

Note: Your username is the part of your HPU email address before the @ sign.

Note: If you do not know your username, you may retreive it by using your student ID. Your student ID is included in almost all official communications from High Point University to you.

Note: Your initial High Point University password is your student ID

The Assessment center for Italian placement is located in the Blackboard system. Simply click on the button below to open the Blackboard system, log in, and click on the Online Assessment for Italian Placement link.

Note: You may need to disable your popup blocker in order to access this website.

Note: Your MyStuff pin number also serves as an initial password to the MyStuff system (your student records, transcripts, registration, etc)
